    Dear Rylan,

my name is Daniela Rettenmaier, I am the producer for the news morning show “MorgenMagazin”, produced in the Washington bureau of German Public Television (ARD).

I am working on a series, which is titled “President Obama’s first year in office”, for our morning program. One piece will be dedicated to First Lady Michelle Obama and the “Michelle O Effect”. The First Lady has influenced a lot of people in many ways, one way is her dedication to healthy food and a healthy lifestyle and part of that is her 90-minute workout three times a week.
Her toned arms are becoming a trademark and a source of inspiration to take responsibility for their health and their body for a lot of women – also in Germany. I would like to show our German viewers, how it is done. Now, there is you with “Go Sleeveless” a instruction for women how to tone up flabby arms and “eliminate bat wings to get “Obama arms.”

I would love to come and visit with our crew for an interview and an exercise class, but unfortunately we are on a tight schedule, so I need to find somebody in the Washington DC area. Do you happen to be here? Probably not, but maybe you would have somebody, who you kindly could recommend. I am looking for an instructor (at a fitness facility), who shows on camera, what is the best and fastest way to get “Obama arms” to go sleeveless next summer season.

I would be delighted if you could get back to me soon.

    With best regards,

    Daniela Rettenmaier

    Hello Rylan,
I’ve been looking at your website and your approach seems to be healthy and very well considered. My question concerns my age – I am 65 and not in the best of shape but in very good health (luckily). Would your program suit me or is it basically for a younger group?
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my question – cathy

  • Coach Rylan:

Cathy, it certainly is NOT restricted to a younger group. In fact, the original version of the program was intended for women post-menopausal women specifically. However, the newest version has options for both older women and younger based on current fitness level.
