Happy New Year! (FLP check-ins go here)

Happy New Year everyone!

Hopefully you’re not all feeling too rough this morning ;-)

And for my friends in the FLP round 2, give yourself a pat on the back for being more than a few steps ahead of your counterparts on your New Years Resolutions this year.

    Here is my day 40!! wow I can’t believe it is already done, I am now taking the training wheels off and going out on my own!! I am feeling great about the control I have on my eating and workouts, I can’t wait to keep this healthy lifestyle up!

        My copy of your book arrived from Amazon yesterday. A couple of weeks ago I won a “giveaway” from Hachette Books and was sent copies of “Chocolate — A Love Story” and “How to Roast A Lamb”. I’ll have to read your book quickly and go out on Amazon with a great review. :-)

  5. Hey Coach! Have you been getting my e-mails? I sent three and asked for a server generated delivery receipt, but didn’t get anything back, so I wasn’t sure. Hopefully, you are just enjoying what’s left of the holidays!

    I took photos and sent my testemonial to you yesterday and didn’t know if you wanted me to do it (take photos) again on Monday.

    Fun cardio was really fun today! I will write about it on my blog tonight.

I had it all ready but forgot to post when my husband and I headed to Iowa City Hospital as his brother was taken there for open Heart surgery which he will have tomorrow.. he is single and quite anxious and we felt we should be there.

  9. Happy New Year everyone! As I sy in my blog, I’ve been getting sleepy early in the day lately, so I was in bed early on New Years Eve. I wasn’t even close to midnight. Despit lots of sleep I still slept in until 7:30am.

    Hi Coach – Happy 2010! Had a low key New Year’s Eve…where could I go where there wasn’t a bunch of mindless eating, drinking and such. That is not a judgment comment – I just didn’t want to have to negotiate my way through that all evening – so had a quiet evening w/hubby. Out to dinner & then watching the party @ Seattle Center on the tube. Great fireworks on the Space Needle. Slept in today – my favorite part! Sunday’s fun cardio may be skiing!!!

    Am I in the right spot? Where is everybody?

    Some days ago, on a half portion day I had a bad attack of hunger
    pains and wondered why. This week I bought a small portion of vegan protein powder and used it during some of the half portion days. It seemed to help a lot. I would have to use it more to get a more accurate accounting, but so far so good.
