how to get toned and sculpted arms

What happened to Rylan?

If you were a regular reader of this blog at some point, you might have been curious about the rather abrupt cessation of posts; the most recent of which is dated more than two years ago!

I’m not even sure what compelled me to sit down and post this today, and not 6 months ago, or a year ago for that matter.

The situation is this:  Before I stopped posting on this blog and others, my health had been slowly deteriorating for a number of years.  At times I was so sick I didn’t leave the house for weeks one end.  Even months.

For a long time, at least three years, I had no idea what was happening to me.  I was in pain, pissed off, and scared shitless.  Here I am, a young man not yet 30 years old – who’s entire life and livelihood revolves around being healthy and teaching other people how to be healthy –  and I literally felt like I was dying.

I couldn’t eat.  My appetite was completely gone.  I was experiencing unrelenting nausea during most of my waking hours, which soon developed into more severe stomach pain, intense panic attacks, along with a whole host of other symptoms.

I tried my best to keep up my business.  As I got sicker my appointments got harder to keep. Eventually my clients were getting irritated with the number of times I had re-sceduled sessions.  I remember trying to keep my voice from trembling when I had to call one of my favourite clients yet again, and move her appointment due to ‘car trouble’ or whatever my excuse of the day was.  In reality I was pulled over to the side of the road retching and having a panic attack; but that was the last thing I wanted to tell her.  I was so terrified of what she would think of me.

I had this story playing in my head that if my clients found out what was really going on with me, I would be exposed as some kind of phoney or fraud and I would lose all my business and not be able to pay my medical bills and support my family, and so on.  After all, who in their right mind would take health advice from someone so obviously un-healthy?!

Well, it happened anyway.  I lost nearly all of my clients, my business plummeted, and I felt ruined.  I was trying to keep afloat just hoping that one day soon my luck would turn around and I would be healthy enough to start working with clients again.  Unfortunately, that day hasn’t come yet, but I hope it soon will.

However, I was finally given a diagnoses of Crohn’s disease – an autoimmune disorder that attacks the gastrointestinal system.

Today I am still very much fighting the effects of the disease – as I will for my entire life – but thanks to the support of my wife, my great doctor, and my family and friends, at this time it looks like I’m finally starting to gain the upper hand on this situation.

Realistically, with how slow my progress has been, I don’t imagine I will be able to get back to blogging or writing anytime soon.  I take on a few private consulting gigs here and there when at all possible, but for at least  the next year you can expect that I won’t be adding new content to any of my blogs and websites.

With that being said, I’m taking my own advice – advice that I’ve given to clients so many times before, and making my health priority number one.  I hope you will all do the same.

All my best,

Go Sleeveless This Summer In Three Simple Steps

Go Sleeveless in Three Steps

While it may be easy to hide your arms in cooler seasons, now that summer is on our doorstep, you are going to find it immeasurably more difficult to find excuses to conceal your arms.

But don’t feel like you are alone here.  In over a decade that I’ve spent as a personal trainer, I have come across only a select few women who were really comfortable with their arms, and even these women felt that there was still some work that they could do.

The Three Causes of Sagging, Flabby, and Squishy Upper Arms

It is true that no two people are alike, and the problem of unsightly arms does vary a lot from person to person, but the underlying causes are always the same – too much fat on the upper arms, excess saggy and droopy skin, and lack of muscle tone.

When these three conditions come together, the end result is consistent – arms that sag, bulge, and flap and jiggle when you wave – a condition I’ve heard referred to as Bat-Wings, Bingo Arms, and even Bye-Bye Meat by my Japanese friends (paints quite the picture doesn’t it?)

This condition is epidemic; a situation clearly demonstrated by all of the products out there designed to conceal, tighten, and hide women’s upper arms: everything from control-top panty hose for the arms, to blouses with built-in elastic designed to strangle the upper arms and hold everything in.

And while these products create the illusion of toned arms, they do nothing to fix the problem – and that is what you really want after all.  Because, let’s face it, eventually the clothes are going to have to come off, and there won’t be anything left to hide your arms.

So weather it’s the beach, or the bedroom, or anywhere else you want to reveal your arms – it’s time to feel confident and sexy about your upper arms, and show them off proudly, without resorting to optical illusions.

Thankfully, the problem is not nearly as hard to correct as most women think.  And if you get started now, you will finally be able to enjoy toned and sexy arms this summer.  But that means no more putting it off.  If you want to reap the benefits of sculpted arms this summer, and be able to show off some skin in a little black dress, tank top, or bathing suit, then we need to get started right away.

Three Steps To Sculpted Arms

Step 1.  Remove built-up body fat.  This is by far the most important step, as it is the number one cause of problem arms.  In fact, I’ve got a quick test that you can do right now that will tell you definitively if this is your problem.  To see me demonstrate this simple test, just check out this link.  Just watch the quick video on the page and you’ll be able to test yourself in just a couple of minutes.

Step 2.  Tighten loose skin. Loose skin is caused by a number of factors.  In younger women, it is often a result of the fat tissue underneath growing and causing the skin to stretch, and because fat tissue has no structural rigidity (like muscle does) is hangs down and simply gives in to gravity.  In older women, there is the additional problem of something called ‘oxidative stress’ which, in simple terms, is long-term exposure to damaging substances that cause the skin cells to lose their elasticity.  Both of these problems are reversible (yes, sagging skin is reversible, despite what plastic surgeons and doctors tell you).

Step 3.  Tone underlying muscle. Many women I’ve tested have a significant lack of muscle tone in their upper arms, in particular, the Tricep area (back of the upper arms).  This is often caused by avoidance of exercises that are thought to bulk the arms up.  Many women fear that if they do exercises such as pushups, bench presses and other ‘man exercises’, that their arms with grow large and bulky.  This is a complete myth, and for reasons I explain in my free video coaching series here, women need not fear any increase in muscle bulk when doing such exercises.

What To Do Next

Now that you know what you need to do in order to get toned and sculpted arms, you need to know how to put these steps to practical use.  That is exactly what I will show you in the Go Sleeveless DVDs which you can get here. I’ll guide you step-by-step through each exercise and technique in detail, and in just 6 weeks, you will be ready to show off your new arms.

And while you are there, don’t forget to sign-up for my free coaching video series where I will explain in detail all the tricks of the trade for getting sculpted and sexy arms you will be proud to show off.

And if DVD’s and videos aren’t your thing, and you want something you can slip in your gym bag or purse, pop in to your local book store and grab a copy of my book Totally Toned Arms for a quick-reference guide to getting toned and sculpted arms on the go.

So there you have it, everything you need to get sexy and sculpted arms this summer.  Now get to it!

Natural Leg and Thigh Lipo – Better Than Surgery

Natural Leg Lipo

Since the launch of the Natural Plastic Surgery System, I’ve been met with a lot of skepticism.  It turns out that people have been more brainwashed than I expected.  Not that I really blame them – mainstream media panders to the crap that the cosmetic surgery industry spews.  But what you need to realize is that a lot of what they are telling you is a complete lie. Strong words, I know – but I call it like it see it.

The fact is, most women don’t think it’s possible to attain plastic surgery results naturally.  For instance, liposuction is thought to be the only 100% effective way to eliminate excess body fat from problem areas permanently. And while painful and horrendously expensive, for many, the end is worth the means.

But today I want to put all this to rest and explain how you can get results that are not equal to, but better, than liposuction.  Yes, I said better – and you can do this without pain, surgery, or a celebrities bank account.

Once you read this quick post, you will know how to naturally sculpt any problem area of your body, and never even have to think about visiting a plastic surgeon.  In fact, you’re about to become your very own body sculpting specialist.

Use This To Get Rid of Bra Bulge

The Natural Breast Lift has an exciting little side-effect that you might be interested in.  Typically, side-effects are thought of as a bad thing, but when you are using natural, and healthy body transformation techniques, side-effects almost always come as a welcome bonus.

In this case, that welcome side effect is the elimination of Bra Bulge.  Bra Bulge is a particularly embarrassing problem that you might encounter should you choose to wear any snugly fitting top.  The bra straps place excess pressure in the soft tissue of the upper back and upper rib cage, causing excess fat tissue to bulge outwards, and even over-top of the bra straps.

This unsightly issue can easily be corrected, while at the same time you can also naturally lift and firm your breasts…  Read More

Natural Plastic Surgery – Re-Sculpt Your Body, One Part At A Time

A long time ago I made a very important realization.

After years of personal experimentation, and working with every imaginable body type, I came to the understanding that the best results were consistently achieved when devoting nearly 100% attention to one area of the body at one time.

Professional bodybuilders have known this for many decades.  I remember reading a section of Arnold Schwarzenneger’s Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding where he spoke about taking personal progress photos every week.  He would examine his body and look for areas that were lacking in some way, or simply not as chiseled as the rest of his physique.  Once identifying the areas the needed improving, he would divert more of his energy and training focus to that area and watch it respond like magic.  In a matter of a couple weeks he would see progress, whereas if he had just continued training in the traditional ‘general’ fashion, it would be months, or even a year, before he would see any substantial progress.

Taking this cue from Arnie and other prominent bodybuilders of the 70’s, I refined the idea and developed it further.  I have since used this method on myself, and my clients, and I have yet to be disappointed with the results.

You see, the approach most people take to their body sculpting program is very general.  They work their back on Monday, shoulders on Tuesday, chest on Wednesday, and so on, taking an overall approach by working the entire body all at once – hoping to get great results in each and every area of their body.  Not leaving anything out, but not devoting any particular attention to one area tends to give just mediocre and slow results.  Now, I’m not saying you can’t get decent results this way – you can.  General programs can work quite well for some people.  However, this is also assuming that you don’t have any ‘problem areas’ that are slow to respond.

Everyone has one part of their body (or more) that will take far greater effort just to achieve minimal results.  This is the case with women who struggle with flabby and saggy arms, and is exactly why the Go Sleeveless System is so popular, and works so well.  It takes into account the fact that if you have ‘problem arms’, they are going to need a much more focused and specialised program.  Not just any old arm exercise and healthy eating plan will do.

So if this works for arms, why not the rest of the body?  Why not indeed.

That is exactly why I developed the Natural Plastic Surgery System – to allow you to completely transform your entire body, one part at a time.

How it works is like this:  The Natural Plastic Surgery System consists of the Foundation System (what I often refer to as the ‘core program’ not to be confused with ‘core training’ or the muscles of your ‘core’) and 4 individual body part ‘Booster Packs’: The Natural Tummy Tuck, The Natural Breast Lift, The Natural Leg Lipo, and The Natural Butt Lift.

You select the area of the body you want to fix first, and use the corresponding workout program twice a week.  On three other days of the week, you use the corresponding workouts from the Foundation System.  The workouts in the Foundation System are also tailored to help target the same problem area, but along with exercises for the rest of your body as well.

Take the exercise below for example.  This is one of the exercises you will find in the Natural Plastic Surgery Foundation System.  This one in particular is coupled with the Natural Breast Lift Program.  While this exercise works nearly every muscle group in the body, it also provides additional attention to the muscles groups responsible for giving you a natural breast lift.  The way these programs are designed is to provide you with exceptional results – far beyond what regular training programs provide – for the target area, while ensuring the rest of your body continues to improve, but without going beyond your body’s limited recovery abilities.

The Natural Plastic Surgery System allows you to target your problem areas, re-sculpt them the way you want them to look (much like the way traditional plastic surgery gives body part specific results) but without the scars, risk, expense, and pain – all while giving you the satisfaction of knowing you did it all yourself, and not with the help of a surgeon.
